Fitcorp has teamed up with Amy Boyce, a Boston-based Registered Dietitian. Through nutrition counseling sessions, Amy will provide you with the tools and knowledge necessary to meet your optimal weight and nutrition objectives. No two individuals are alike so you will receive a program that addresses your specific lifestyle and nutrition goals. Here’s how it works:
Sign up for an initial, 1-hour session. This session will provide:
- A review of your medical, nutrition, and health histories
- Discussion of your lifestyle and current nutrition patterns
- Identification of your nutrition needs and goals
- Creation of a nutrition action plan that will begin to address your goals and improve your nutrition habits
Follow-ups are 30 minute or 1-hour sessions. These sessions will provide:
- Optional weigh-in
- Progress assessment
- Additional nutrition goals and objectives/overcoming obstacles
- Discussion of nutrition topics of specific interest
- Topic examples may include the following: eating out while on the road, stocking a nutritious kitchen, learning how to read food label, etc.
